We are very excited to announce a vibrant, new festival landing in Ghana next year. All roads lead to the country’s south-east tip with the Meet Me There Weekender: a celebration of Ghana’s rich culture, art and music.
It takes place on the stunning coast of the Volta Region where Meet Me There African Home Lodge sits between the two fishing villages of Dzita and Agbledomi. The not-for-profit lodge supports the work of NGO Dream Big Ghana, a charity dedicated to improving sanitation, education and health care for local people. They work closely with local chiefs and community leaders, as well as representatives from local government and other organisations, and with their support have put in place a number of practical projects that have had a very real impact on the lives of the locals. Profits for the festival will be supporting Dream Big Ghana’s education and sanitation community programmes.
