Hot off the back of his SAUL project on Rhythm Section, Footshooter brings us his Libations & Movement EP forthcoming on EVM128 and James Rudie’s Dance Regular label.
The first single ‘Malaika’ starts off with Footshooter’s signature drums. Lush chords float over the syncopated rhythm until he hits you with an extremely funky bassline. Belinda Zhawi aka MA.MAYO poet, vocalist & educator from South East London weaves in and out with her softly spoken words about living in the city, struggle, love and life.
Beautiful, much needed music to get you in the mood for sunshine. A slice of London, bumpy enough to make your neck bop!
